Adult Single Beds

Adult Single Beds

Many people think single beds are primarily used in bedrooms for children as well as teen. However, this is no longer the case.
Current trends show that more and more adults are purchasing single beds for adult use. There are a number of reasons why adults would choose single beds.
Many married couples or partners find that sometimes having a place to sleep away from their partner can provide them with a better night of sleep.
This could be a long term situation or periodic. Other adults are using single beds are choices for their guest bedrooms.
They find that these smaller beds can still accommodate a guest but take up much less space. While there are many types of beds on the market today that are labeled as single beds, there are actually three different sizes of them. The smallest one of course would be the one that is child sized, measuring 80 cm by 190 cm. The second size is a bit larger measuring in at 90 cm by 190 cm.
This is a UK single bed.
The third and largest of the three single beds is the European single. It measures in a 90 cm b by 200 cm. This is the best choice if you are tall. Also, if you will be purchasing it for guest room, the European single is a good idea.
It can accommodate just about any guest. Make sure the room has adequate space first before purchasing one.
The frames chosen for single beds can vary. They come in so many materials and colours, that it is quite easy to find the right one.
If your bedding will be covering the frame, a cheaper frame works quite well.
You can also opt to add a headboard or a footboard. Perhaps you will add both to your single bed.
